Here's the ironic humorous part of the story. Upon starting the chromium linux build the default home page is a splash screen called "about:linux-splash" that warns against filing bugs, blogging, or any other pestering of the developers about this "woefully-incomplete" browser that I am able to write blog posts with. I feel like such a rebel.

about:linux-build
I'm currently using a Linux Build of Chromium to write this blog post. It seems to be running great so far. I was able to complete the SunSpider javascript benchmark with speeds comparable to Firefox3. I also ran the acid3 test which was nearly perfect. The coolest part is that I'm building and running on Ubuntu 8.10 AMD64. Which seemed to be a problem before, but no-longer.
